At Outside the Wall Counseling Services, our name reflects our mission: helping individuals move beyond the internal and external barriers that limit healing, growth, and connection. We provide a safe, supportive space where resilience can be strengthened and meaningful change can take root.
Over the years, I have worked across diverse clinical settings, including Intensive In-Community (IIC) services in the home, therapeutic group homes, trauma-informed hospital environments, and with individuals with developmental disabilities...to name a few. Alongside clinical practice, I have also engaged in community-based outreach supporting veterans and unhoused individuals, including efforts connected to homeless veteran populations as well as food and clothing drives. These experiences have strengthened a grounded, adaptable approach that responds to complex needs with compassion and practicality.
I welcome clients of all ages, identities, and backgrounds. As a U.S. Navy Veteran, I bring both professional training and lived understanding of the unique stressors faced by service members, veterans, and their families. Outside the Wall Counseling Services is also proud to be a VA Community Care Network (CCN) Provider, helping eligible Veterans access mental health services through the VA Community Care Program.
My work is guided by ethical, evidence-based practice and a collaborative, strengths-focused approach. Therapy here is centered on helping clients build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and move toward goals that are meaningful to them.
At Outside the Wall Counseling Services, I am committed to walking alongside you in the process of growth, recovery, and change.

Meet Ella, My mini-goldendoodle puppy in training. Ella is learning how to bring comfort, calm and connection into the therapy space. With client permission and comfort in mind, she may one day join sessions to provide companionship and broader therapeutic support. Research shows that therapy animals can reduce stress, ease anxiety, and help create a warm and welcoming environment — and Ella is already proving to be a natural at spreading joy. Stay tuned as I share more of Ella's journey.
