SCHOLARSHIPS VALUE: $250, $500, $1000
AWARDS AVAILABLE: 3
Outside the Wall is proud to offer 3 individual scholarships in the amounts of $250, $500 and $1000 to New Jersey college bound or technical (trade) school bound children of justice involved military veterans and non-veterans. Children are our greatest resource and we realize that a parent's incarceration or a parent's frequent involvement with the criminal justice system can have a significant impact on a child's educational future. We want to provide an incentive for these children to continue on the road to success.
To apply, write a 500+ word essay sharing your story answering the questions:
1.) HOW HAS BEING THE CHILD OF A PARENT WHO IS CURRENTLY INCARCERATED OR WHO HAS HAD FREQUENT INVOLVEMENT WITH THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM IMPACTED YOUR LIFE?

Once all of the submissions have been received, Outside the Wall staff will review each entry and award a $250 scholarship to one individual, a $500 scholarship to one individual and a $1000 scholarship to one individual.
